Into the Dark.

YOUtube: Death Cab for Cutie: “I Will Follow You into the Dark”

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs

If there’s no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I’ll follow you into the dark

I’m in love with a boy with a smile like heaven.

Yes, I finally did start my tattoo half-sleeve. I have to say, it’s as close to cute as a tattoo can get, with wolf cubs and fireflies. I was thinking that maybe I will regret it when I’m older, but then I thought “Who am I kidding?” Life’s no fun if you can’t be a kid at heart. I’m not posting pictures yet, but I will say that the worst parts by far were the elbow and the collar–needle on bone. It was excruciating. She still hasn’t done any of the shading, one of the reasons I’m not posting pictures yet, but I will definitely be trying to find my first Vicodin for the day she shades my collar.

I am proud that I was such a man about it. Instead of yelling when she first hit my elbow, I laughed and asked “Holy god, what the hell are you doing to me?” and that was the end of my bitching.

Finally, Nelly Furtado covers Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” (thanks to Perez!).

  1. Wonderful song. Wonderful boy with a wonderful
smile–life is good for you. Glad the first stage of the body decoration was not too painful–I’m not an advocate of such things–but it’s your body after all. Sending you some healing
hot air. Just watched a fascinating new Russian film called “Cuckoo” set in 1944 in which a young Lapp girl rescues a Russian soldier and a Finnish sniper. In a key scene she helps the Finn recover from a gunshot wound by blowing hot air in his face and calling him back from the dead. The song made me think of that.
