I’ve had a lot of great things happen in the past weeks, but today was the topper. Today, I got the most amazing call saying…

I GOT INTO COLUMBIA!!!

I’m going to be an Ivy Leaguer, baby!

  21. very belated… but huge congratulations on getting into Columbia, Scott. I hope you manage to get the finances sorted satisfactorily.
    and if you have time, write more!!!
    you haven’t been making half as many entries lately as you should.
    there is a danger in starting to see everything you do as “the same”, and maybe you are falling into that trap. it isn’t all the same; the trick you need to get on top of is writing about it freshly. your most entertaining writing has been, sometimes, on trivial things, where your perceptions and insights have made those things worth contemplating.
