fuerzabruta !!! i implore you: skip broadway for now. visit union square east and 15th street, and see fuerzabruta, another live performance masterpiece from the creators of de la guarda. one of my first nights visiting new york city–years ago–i saw guarda, and it still ranks among my top experiences in the city. this show, while not holding the same impact for merely sentimental reasons, was still transfixing. i plan on seeing it at least once more. just know you may get soaking wet, you may have performers bellyflopping in the rain on sheets of mylar inches over your head (see the pictures below), and you may–no, will, witness absolute, beautiful insanity (literally) surrounding you. go to the website, watch the videos, see the show. period. pictures below are from ny mag. please don’t sue me. i love you.

Hi Scott,
Please call your sister- it’s an urgent matter, and it’s very important that you call as soon as you can. She’s been trying to call for the past several hours- and we know you may be asleep from work and stuff, but please call as soon as you can. It’s very important.
